I have a br race ic now but was wondering if its worth the upgrade to there bigger ic I think its 4.5 inches the bfic. Is it worth it? I'm running a fpred but about to swithch to a t3 turbo here within the next 2 weeks. Should I go for the bigger ic?

No. You are not out-flowing it with those turbos.

Mellon tuning (I think) (couple years ago) did a test when he went to a FP green to HTA 35R The gains were there, but not enough to make a difference on the track or in a race. So unless you got money to blow don't waste your money. My opinion.

The 4.5" BFIC vs. the 3.8" Race IC debate is a moot issue because BR is no longer fabricating the BFIC.

actually that was a BR Deluxe vs BR Race, there wasn't such thing as a BFIC back then

for what it's worth I run the BR Race on my 700awhp daily driver, it's a badass FMIC

we have those and other FMIC options here http://www.mellontuning.com/index.ph...ndex&cPath=1_7
