Aps downpipe on stock cat and exhaust?

Hey. I tried searching the answer for this question but couldn't find any. I recently acquired an APS downpipe from my cousin and I was wondering if there would be any issues if it was bolted directly onto the stock exhaust, and if any additional things are required to be done in order to fit the downpipe, and if there would be any noticeable differences. I know I may need something like a new exhaust gasket?

thanks for the help!

I don't think it will fit without changing the flange on the cat. I had to clear a ref ticket last year and the stock cat wouldn't bolt up to my Perrin DP or my Greddy catback.

I ended up cutting the flange off the cat and welding a 3" flange on it to fit the catback. I had to use a stock downpipe though. How big is the APS pipe?

Yeah a test pipe would be a good idea. You are still going to run into a size difference after the test pipe to the catback but its easy to put another flange on it. If you are getting the catback too your golden though!
