Misfire Code
Misfire Code
Today driving around i got a random misfire code P0300. I have since deleted the code and have driven around it has yet to come back on. Anyone know why this may have happened. Mods are 3" TBE with test pipe, GSC S1 Cams, Perrin Intake, Walboro 255 lph fuel pump, hallman pro set at 26 psi and was tuned by CBRD.
It is not a misfire. For some reason evos like to throw this code due to a small vibration. Easiest way to get rid of it popping up is flashing your ECU with ecuflash and eliminate the 0300 code. Check out the ECUflash forum on here, it has the answers on how to do it.

Check all the basics first (plugs, coil packs, etc). Then once you are satisfied then you can turn off P0300
Mine is set off by the horrible vibration my exhaust causes in 5th gear at a certain speed. Happens every single time. Braaack, CEL!

I have checked everything i just did a tune up before i drove it to virginia beach. The spark plugs have about 2,000 Miles on them. It has yet to come back on and i did some "spirited driving" yesterday.
It comes from the cams when first put in. When did you have them installed??
