Interesting bit of something I ran into...

With an Exedy Twin Disk setup the flywheel bolts on fine, but there is actually a little bit of play around the center (raised) portion of the crank snout. It was a light press fit on the stock crank. Is this a normal occurance? Either way I'm going to make a little sleeve to get it to fit more like it did on the stock crank, but I feel like it probably doesn't need it - better to be safe I'm thinking...

nice choice on the rods, I will be running Olivers in my 2.2 which Im building soon. The Manley's look like a nice rod but at 670 grams no way, overkill for a 35r.

I couldn't be happier with them - in terms of fit and finish. They are seriously one of the nicest, best machined rods I've seen (not that I've seen THAT many). I have seen Manleys before and I'd say these are tighter tolerances - though those were used Manleys, so I'm not sure - and I certainly don't want to start a debate on which is better etc....

What pistons are you going to run? I was between the JEs and Wiseco HDs.

That's interesting... is it the same material and just a thinner wall then? Or is it a different pin material entirely? Obviously it'd lead to weight redux - what sort of total weight change per pin?

different material, the .225 is 9310 toolsteel. Dont know the exact weight differences but its a fair bit. Wiseco say the normal .2 pin is 1000whp capable.
