GTII 7460R vs BBK Full photo shoot
Very nice pics mrfred, your toxicfab manifold was shipped yesterday! Should be receiving soon! Very excited for the test results on all this! Great to have someone who's willing to take the money, time, and effort into getting these results for the people of evom!
basically... the HKS turbo killed the stock 9 in every way possible. HKS turbo made the FP Green look just as bad. The hks was faaaar more responsive compared to the red and made 37 less horsepower peak. (42psi on the red on c16)
The BBK overlay that Jeremy and I did was the best comparison. Both turbo's @ 30+ psi. Both on E85, s2's and FP4rs, he had a ported exhaust manifold and I had a magnus...
The dyno graphs literally overlayed on top of each other except the HKS turbo came to life much sooner than the BBK.... it was REALLY evident with the boost plot.

Hopefully it was just a temp ban and Eric will be back on here again sharing data too.

Barring any unforseen circumstances I head over to English Racing on Monday where the new HKS cams, ETS v2 LICP, BBK Full, and FiD exhaust manifold will be installed. On the following Monday, we'll dyno it, swap turbos, dyno again, swap manifolds, and dyno one more time.

im honestly flattered to see our turbo up against the newest entry into this market, since we've had ours out for 2 years or so.
Ballbearing is definetly a heft development in this niche!!
Thanks for posting information, looking at our competition allows us to further our own development which never stops!
cheers

ok, so no vaporware here. I brought my Evo to English Racing this morning, and the BBK Full and ToxicFab manifold went on the car today. Also being installed are the new HKS cams (+ spring + retainers), an ETS v2 LICP, and the new Synapse DV. Current plan is to strap the car on the English Racing dyno on Tuesday with these mods, then switch to the FiD manifold, and dyno again. Once the data starts accumulating, I'll start a new thread in the Evo Dyno Results forum. Just want to mention that there is no way I could have pulled this off without English Racing. Jake and Jeff have been doing a great job getting the car prepped and making sure its setup the way I want.

Got the car back together today with HKS cams + BBK Full + ToxicFab, but no time to hit the dyno, so the last phase is getting post-poned to next week. That will include dynoing the current combo, switching to the FiD manifold, dynoing that, switching to the GTII turbo (with the better performing manifold), and dynoing one last time.

It would be nice if you did some partial throttle sweepers as well as other transient tests to see which one "FEELS" better when being worked other than when its on the rollers.
