Ok, its been a few weeks now since i've had this thing installed and so car it hasn't caught anything, there is some oil in the tube where it comes off the valve cover but none in the filter. I know on the peice there is a longer side and a shorter side? Does it matter which goes to which? I had it comming from the valve cover, into the longer outlet on the pump then out the other short side of the filter into the maf pipe. I also removed the filter.

should be an arrow indicating the direction of flow through the filter.

Are these your catch cans still doing well for you? An idea of how long of tubing to go get and a little better instruction for instillation would be much appreciated... Did anyone ever write up a how to/install on the evo with pictures for this? I don't have too much wrenching experience

My knee is busted up right now This would be an interesting little project during the down time until I can work the clutch again

I've had the catch can in for about a month now and it hasn't caught anything, but there is oil in the tube now gathering up making its way towards the can.

Hi,

I put the PCV side catch can in, and it's caught about a tablespoon or so of oil already in about 2 weeks.

I bought 10 feet of the tubing, which is much more than you need. You basically just locate the stock hose, remove it, and put your tubing with the catch can in series. I followed the flow indicaton on the filter from PCV to Intake Manifold.

I have not tackled the breather side, hose seems kind of buried under there. I'm about to replace my Samco hose kit, so I'll tackle it at that point and also clean out the MAF tube and MAF (it was coated in oil last time I checked). I think I'll clean the tb as well for good measure.

To Sleet, are you running higher than stock boost? I wonder why nothing makes it to the can, or I wonder why it's making it t my can, lol? I had stuff in there after the first drive to work (~30 miles) with mostly highway driving, but a few WOT pulls to near redline in 2nd and 3rd..

Take care,

FB

Once you connect the catch can to the pvc valve do you run it back to the intake mani because i have seen people say you run it to the turbo inlet in which case im confused. Can someone clarify exactly where everything goes, there are so many different opinions.
