Can you give a few more details and a link to the part you're selling?
The 2.1L uses the K626 pistons, but you are correct the LR2.4 would be a custom bore of the K627 so essentially you could have them built in whatever CR you desire

Chris, you are building the 4G64 2.1 liter using the K626 standard compression height piston and a custom 156mm rod? Why not use the K627 stroker piston that shifts the pin up 6mm and will be a lighter piston to reduce the rotating mass. This standard style stroker piston that many manufacturers sell has been proven to handle the power with cars running in the low 9's....etc. Make a custom 162mm version of your rod and you will increase the rod stroke ratio from 1.77 to 1.84 to boot. So, with an 87mm bore version of the K627 stroker 1400HD piston @ 9.7:1 and a custom 162mm length version of your Connecting Rod built in a 4G64 you would net 2093cc ~ 2.1 Liter

Any weights on the 156mm rod?

I like the 2.4 but for some reason the purest in me wanted to keep the block a 4g63 block...it's a semi motor swap for the Galant engine and I can't look past that. Maybe for the wife's Evo

The main reasoning is that the rods need to be made in quantity to be cost effective, and then you have to add in the cost of custom pistons. The rod ratio of the 156mm 2.1L is superb and most people won't even be able to take full advantage of that let alone a 162mm rod

I was running HKS 272's and a TBE with no cat and my car sounds so much better being a stroker...different cams but same exhaust. The tone is much deeper, I can park at the back of the walmart parking lot and still here the low frequency grumble al lthe way to the doors. It's badass.

That definitley sounds deeper...also that's a clean car man! I love the blue Evos. I think I'm going to get a 4g64 crank from Awd motorsports there I think $225 shipped.

Now I can't decide on the 2.1 or 2.4!!! I just got the CBRD BBK-B turbo, but sometime next year I am planning on getting one of the new Full-Race EFR T4 TS setups. I was going to get the 2.1L considering the big turbo setup for next year, but then again, the 2.4 will spool it faster. Then again, I CAN rev it to the moon with the 2.1L which is good since the big turbo setup will boost up there. Any thoughts?
