Buschur Racing Dual Stage Boost Controller

anyone have experience with the Buschur Racing Dual Stage Boost Controller

i have a 440whp setup right now on 25psi but im doing my twin disc setup in a few months and wanna have 2 different boost levels with a flick of the switch and not having to adjust the boost controller manually

i wanna have a 28psi setup with 475whp 410wtq

and another boost level for every day driving at 24psi 430whp probably

is this a good modification for what i need ?

im gonna say no, unless the boost controller can switch maps for you....understand that just because you raise the boost it doesnt mean you'll make more power, or be safe for that matter since the map will probably hit different spots on that tune....so what you really need is ECU boost control, two maps, and either a laptop or a map-changing switch.

I would say go with a dejon dual boost controller (much cheaper) and have an experienced tuner do the tephra mod on it so you can run two different maps at a switch of a button. This is useful for someone looking for a gas tune 91, 93 etc and a e85 or race gas tune. You can have both the map and boost switch with a flick of a switch. I am currently tuned on a 91 and e85 tune. This would be usefull for you with a high boost setting and low boost setting with corresponding maps.

i dont think he makes them anymore. get this: http://www.hallmanboostcontroller.co...ml#EvolutionRX its very easy to adjust on the fly. and if you arent changing fuels, then you dont need to change maps unless you have a really bad tune. if its tuned for 28 psi, then you can turn it down to 24 with zero issues.

You can use ecu boost control with a mac valve or grimmspeed ebc and pick up a map switching harness here ---> http://www.mellontuning.com/index.ph...8be6132fd74b36

Actually he can tune the car for 27 psi and then drop the boost down to 23 psi which is fine the only thing it might be a bit rich but safe..
