Clutch Masters push style twin questions

I've done allot of searching, but i haven't turned up much. I'm going to put a twin plate into my car, i was just going to get an exedy and be done with it but i'm growing more and more paranoid of the famous TOB clip issues. so doing a push style conversion is my best option.

the AMS/Exedy set up is nice, but im having a hard time justifying the cost. i can get a normal exedy twin for over $1000 less.

Adam@MAP pointed out that Clutch Masters sells a push style twin plate clutch now. a 850 series thats a normal full size twin, and a 725 series "mini twin"

has anyone ever used these clutch's? any reviews or experiences of/with CM clutch's? I've had some real bad CM experiences in my past, so i'm not that excited to use there products, but the general consensus of the Evo community will decide for me.

the 725 series would be awesome to use, the smaller disk not only lessens rotating mass but also the moment worked against it. id bet its got a MOI on par with a carbon disk set up.

thoughts???

edit-
link for what i'm talking about.

Bud I have had 3 different twin disc (I have 4 eves now) Ive had the tilton twin exedy and quarter master twin. If i could do it again would go with the exedy the clip thing never messed up on me and now they make a stop to keep it from happen. Go exedy and don't look back. And make sure you lock tite all the bolts on the clutch it self.

while i honestly do thank you for your fedback, ive seen failures of the TOB clip on here even with the fork stop. that issue is just something i'm not going to allow my car to suffer.

I was really hoping to find some information about these on here as i fear the CM name. this does look like a nice product though.

I use it! It works way better than the Quartermaster 7.25 which would slip on me. I have also used the excedy twin. The best part is its light weight but almost full size so you get the best life, tq holding out of a twin disk. Surface area is more important for holding power than weight.

I have an extra one out of a friends car. He unfortunately crashed his car and wants to sell his clutch, its been freshly rebuilt too.LMK

Good Luck

Evan Smith
(BTW I make over 600whp with my CM Clutch. )

a lot are looking up for the new 7.25 QM. i guess more feedback from users is needed about it. however according to some vendors it is one of the best clutches to use.
