Random Thought on O2 Dump

I searched and could not find any answers anywhere.. I was found that O2 dumps yield the most power gains (over o2 housings at least), but are obnoxiously loud [to some]. I was wondering people's thoughts putting on a dump, and running the wastegate smaller diameter exhaust parallel to the 3" exhaust and merging them together just before the muffler.

Thoughts?

Thanks

I agree...waste of time and materials if you are going to run the dump tube half way down the car and then recirc...Dumps are loud when you want them to be...Once you are WOT & 15 psi or so, yes they are loud, but what Evos at WOT aren't loud anyway?? During normal daily cruising you can't tell a difference between a recirc 02 housing & 02 dump...Collin @ Toxicfab will be releasing an 02 dump very soon & I will be getting the first one...if you have any questions let me know!

Just use a regular o2 housing.

MAP makes a downpipe that merges the wastegate gases in further downstream, FYI:

The Toxicfab 02 dump will work with any licp, BR, AMS, ETS, etc...I will be using a BR LICP with mine...

rather than an o2 housing, going with an external dump would net approximately how much more horse power?? 5 max?

and good to know about the toxic fab piece... I plan (at the moment) to go with the nisei setup.
