I will put my money towards an ATS twin, but I am sure others will vote with their dollars for exedy

For purely street driven and occasional highway stuff, the Exedy is easier to drive. I dont know that it will last longer than the ATS/Carbonetics. The Comp Twin is going to be an interesting test since its back in Luke's car which is also a street car again for the time being. His wife drives it everywhere with the kids, so we'll see how a 90 lb Half Philipina does with it Based on what I have seen I think the Comp is going to outlast them and I know for a fact it will be cheaper to rebuild.

Is the only difference between the v1 and v2 the weight of the flywheel? any downsides for the lighter flywheel other than it is hard to take a start without the car stalling?

I've the comp clutch on a website stating that the flywheel ways 14. lb, i assume this is the light one?

Tks

AS far as I know it was just the flywheel. There might be some changes to the hub as well, but this one has been Luke's dept more than mine. I'll check tomorrow if he doesnt see this tonight.

Yes the only difference is the weight.

The launch and take off is better and 1/2 the Decal noise. The Decal noise is a big deal to me.

Anyone have suggestions on a clutch for a ~450whp evo that's not daily driven and occasionally drag raced/tracked. I'm not really concerned about the mileage or drivability. I just want something that is good for launches and shifts nice at high rpm.

Hey Aaron.....any experience with Clutch Masters products? Specifically their FX300 setup? Or any of their stuff for that matter?
