The $ difference would almost cover the install.
It's my dd that I only drive 12 miles a day, no traffic or hills.

Aaron I'd be surprised if your customer has one of the new QM twins as they've only been being shipped to customers this week.

I could be wrong though

LMK if you need another tester for a clutch... I'm certainly in the market.

I just ordered a CC Twin. For $1285 shipped I thought I would give it a try.

Will report back impressions after install.

Get it directly from CC. They're working on site and the clutch will not show up on list for Evo's.

There are three different models available.
Each will hold more torque.
If I remember correctly the #'s at the end of product code are A = 650 tq, B = 700 tq and C = 800 tq.

I went with the A. They are all the same price.

Looking to get it installed within the next few weeks. I also ordered a SS clutch line and a new Front motor mount.

It's probably best to get them on the phone and verify what I stated from above.

We are the West coast retailer of Competition clutch products. You can order it off our store if you'd like

OK, got all this love for the CC twin going in here. I am looking to go twin and convert to push style before long and I like the price. However, I had a really bad experience with the CC Stage 2 in my Evo. Lockout city at 7k. Damaged my tranny, Yes, adjusted the clutch pedal and all the regulars suggestions. Could hold the clutch on the floor rolling at 5mph (to keep the 2-step off), free rev the engine and the clutch would re-engage at 7k with the pedal held on the floor.

So is the Stage 2 just a POS or what?

Jim the MOI of the clutch is too much not to mention its thermal mass isn't large enough to take the heat and not warp (results in clutch drag) and ultimately the inability to shift.

This new CC twin will not suffer the same fundamental flaws as your previous stg2. Not to worry.
