Reds come from FP with the oil line kit (now)....

I still think for a street car the HTA Green is the way to go, but to each his own.

For reference, I have the small cover and stock oil line, since neither were around when I put it on.

nice what was your 60ft?

I've always thought that if I wanted to make 500+ whp I'd probably have to go FP black or 35r, but it sounds like 500whp is very very doable on the red???

Also, why is there no talk in here about the black? I've "heard" it only spools slightly slower than the red, but makes a lot more up top, anyone with experience?

Over 500 AWHP with the Red on a stock, unzipped, 2.0L longblock is doable on race gas, pump+Meth, or E-85 fuel. However, it is not doable on straight 93 octane(R+M/2) pump gas. So, to answer your question, your desired power level can be realized on the above mentioned fuels(except not 93) at over 30#, on a stock longblock with a Red. It has been done before.

I have read that there is only a 200 R.P.M. spool difference between the Red and the Black. The Black produces an easy 60 WHP more than the Red. It really boils down to the type of driving that you'll be doing and the type of fuel that you'll be running. Maybe even the HTA Green would be better for you.

I would recommend the 84mm HTA Ported FP Red its a beast when tuned right. I made 404.3whp and 345.7 ft/lbs on a low reading dyno.
