I really need that in 1,15 divided T4

"soon" or "6-8 weeks" And "I will put You in the waiting list"
Is the answer I got so far

there is NO Solid ETA

please.......... I feel like already waiting for years

Thanks

damn... not into these turbos, but i feel your pain bro... wish i could tell you "it'll be all over soon"... "concrete ETAs" have been given since their induction though; funny, but not really.

post like yours shouldn't even exist... terrible, simply terrible; the closing chapter on this 'tragedy' seems to extend forever.

I'm starting to wonder if I'll EVER visit this thread and feel a great vibe shared by all.

Flicking to a point a few pages deeper into the calender, or maybe some other calender:

Well worth the wait, response is awesome- I know it looks like it doesn't make full boost until quite late in the rev range on the dyno plot but on the road its boost recovery is like a TD05 on antilag w00t. At this stage its whp isn't setting any records, but it pulls like a freight train and other awesome stuff that dyno plots won't tell you... when the boost control is sorted my tuner tells me it looks set to make 1000whp easy.

These things are really special!!!

Sorry, that was supposed to be an obvious cynical prophecy partly with the hope that someone knew better and would come in to make a fool of me.

The only EFR9180 I know of being shipped was for a time attack GTR in Oz and apparently a prototype version which blew on the dyno so not aware of any results for it. Beyond that I have no idea if any have even been shipped, or will be any time soon but if I did I'd definitely link it this thread if any come up.

i'm in the same boat... I have a 7670 waiting to be installed in my car, the car will be full race road racing only...fully built engine,head,etc,etc... So sad to hear these bad things aboout the turbo, I only want good things out of it! I have my faith that it will perform outstanding! I will have my own version when I beat the crap out of my car, will see soon.

picked my car up from storage 2 weeks early and im working on it in my days off so it should be swapped and running in a few weeks tops. bad news is i wont be able to send the turbo out for testing, but the good news is ill test it on a well built setup! my engine is built to take all i can throw at it so ill make sure the turbo is maxed out. no "i ran out of fuel" or "my head will lift" or any crap like that. i dont think i have any compromises in my setup. the only "maybe" i can think of is i only have 1.3 bar springs in the gates.

I think a 1.3bar spring in there with a 4port bcs will hold whatever boost the turbo will be able to produce. I cant wait to see your results!

I changed all of my 8374's to 9180's recently. Hopefully BW can get their production sorted. I think the 9180 is going to give up very little to gain alot over the 8374. If not, back to HTA or me.

It's such a sad thread. I saw them at the PRI show and they said that these things would be out really soon. I should've just ran out of that place with the 9180 they had on display, ha ha.

Could probably make upgrading to FP Black/similar sized stock frame turbos pointless if someone could make a competitively priced 7670 0.92 internal wastegate with Recirc kit. turbo + licp + downpipe + intake + oil/coolant lines

The price differential between going with that and FP black BB + LICP + downpipe + tubular long runner manifold could be negligible and would spool better and make more power.
