New BW EFR Turbo Thread
Not to mention it'll be easier on the CHRA and the lifespan of the turbocharger if I'm not running it off the compressor map in terms of turbospeed.
It's a fine line, and I'll be more confortable with my decision once I sit down and use the matchbot. Then I can make the decision where to compromise.
He's not logging turbospeed. But I'm pretty confident he's at or near the TSL. being his engine isn't that much bigger than mine... but mine will rev easily a 1000 RPMS higher than his. I don't want to limit my powerband by undersizing my compressor wheel. By taking a 300rpm hit in spool up time switching to the 8374... I'll be able to extend my powerband on the top end at least another 1000RPMS. I make my overall powerband ~700+rpms wider.

Here is what my engine builder came out with based on some of my inputs and information.

Keep us updated! I've ordered both the 8374 and 9180 as I couldn't decide. However, it looks like I won't get either til at least march next year. Hopefully there'll be plenty of results posted by then
project Skyline... you did your AFR's incorrectly. You should be in the 11's not 7's. Here was my quick stab at it. Your BSFC was also pretty bad. I've been playing with VE versus BSFC... trying to get them to line up with Leets results based on the horsepower output... evidently the VE needs to be well over 100% I need to watch Brock's last 2 videos for adjusting the bot, but I think I've got it pretty well lined out.
