The problem is they'll only fork over enough cash to spray the area and "blend" it in to the rest of the body. GM had a problem with the 91 and 92 camaros where the primer was bad. My friend could strip the paint off his car with a garden hose. GM only forked over $1800 to repaint the entire car. Tons of overspray, masking lines everwhere and a few spots where the paint was so thin one wet sanding took it off.

IF you manage to get them to pay for a repaint make sure they don't touch the car. Have some hot-rod shop do it and send them the bill.
