FIC 1100 Install

I just finished installing some FIC 1100 injectors and everything went smooth enough, however I noticed that if I put in the OEM rubber seat that goes between the injector and the fuel rail that the injector wouldn't go far enough into the fuel rail and the top of the injector/oring would just float around.

With everything installed without the rubber seat, the injector goes into the rail about 1-2mm further than the stock injectors and the metal base of the injector is flush with the fuel rail, and the injector is seated into the intake manifold.

What would you recommend doing?

Pic of my actual injector is attached. Below are two pics of other FIC 1100's, which look a bit different and they also seem to have come with the blue rubber seat.

Thanks for reading

Try putting oil around the o ring and see if it sits better see if that works.

On my FIC 950s, I bought a new seal/seat kit off their website, it's $25 and should make everything fit perfect.

My injector is all blue anodized one in the attachments.

I called up FIC and spoke to Jens and he explained that they don't ship out these injectors with the rubber seal as the injector seats properly without them. I've ordered their seal kit anyway to see how they fit compared to the oem seals as I want to have some cushioning between the metal on metal contact of the rail and injector.
