It's a Stinger brand in line fuse holder with 200 amp fuse. Got it at Ultimate Electronics. Was hoping for something shorter but that's what they had.

Someone posted this site in another thread. Lot's of options.

DEKA batteries appear to be the same thing as Braille for 1/2 the cost.

I'll be giving an ETX12 (same as braille b129) a shot here soon. I'll be locating it in the engine bay though as I don't want to run 5 pounds of wire to the back of the car and then not be able to run at an NHRA track should I get an itch to drag race.

Here's how I installed my trunk mount kit: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ff-switch.html

Been in the car for quite a while. Zero problems so far.

On my old 2g gsx. I ran This breaker (http://www.amazon.com/Stinger-SGP901.../ref=pd_cp_e_1), 4awg cable, and something similar to this (http://www.amazon.com/Stinger-HPM-Ga...6601993&sr=1-6) to connect the oem wiring with the new wiring, while allowing my a clean mount in the engine bay and a spot for easy power access in the bay as well. Then used a summit plastic box for the trunk with a red top. I will try to get some pics from the current owner.

Thanks for posting a link to your thread! I think when I first searched for trunk mounted batteries, your thread was one of the first to come up. I like your cut off switch location. Have you run your car at an NHRA track? Were they alright with your cutoff switch location??

I don't drag race, so I don't know if the switch would pass NHRA tech. However when I'm running at track days, I remove the back half of the center console to fully expose the cutoff switch for easy access.

Highly recommend the BatCap 800 if you ever have any issues with the Braile.

Any Ideas on how or where to mount a clean kill switch? Mines already mounted in the trunk just need the kill switch to be added. And where can you get a nice looking switch?

If I were to install an externally accessible kill switch, I'd mount it behind the license plate. That way it's hidden for street driving and forces me to take off the plates for racing, which is a good idea to begin with ( insurance spies).

If E-Town is as strict as you say about tech, you have to have an externally mounted kill switch on the exterior of the vehicle for any trunk mounted battery. Also you have to have a vent for ANY trunk mounted battery if you don't have a sealed firewall between the trunk and passenger compartment.

If I end up rear mounting the battery Ill probably do a kill switch behind my license plate so its hidden and Ill take the plate off at the track...E-town is very strict...you need a cage for running faster then 11.5s or you get booted...among other things...
