you have a 9 he has an 8 so this thread doesn't pertain to you. On my 8 it really woke the car up. I almost gained 40whp with comp cam 272's. At the moment I don't see the need for swapping out cams on my 9 when I made 374whp on stockers. For an 8 it is a must do in my mod book.

I drove my friends EVO 8 with kelford 272 it's a big difference on my EVO 8 stock cams.

Im getting a kelford 272 cams with beehive springs & retainer. ETS intercooler, 1250 inj. Fuel pump... And a FP Red. So far I have everything except the turbo. Hopefully I get them all installed this week.

well i cant tell u anythin u havent heard depends on your cams, personally i bought hks 272 cams for my 03 evo 8. While they are a great upgrade for the car to waken up midrange and top end, if i couldve gone over and done some mods again, i wouldve swapped to either kelford 272 or gsc s2, midrange and top end on those over hks 272s are nearly 15-40whp difference. So you say you want 350-400 hp, you say that now, ull get that power and from first person experience, im kinda over 385 hp dynojet. You will be too at that point, in which your hks will leave some peak power on the table . Spend the money get kelford or gscs, get springs and retainers a re tune then your good for 8k rpms...or soon enough if i get my s2s in you can buy my hks haha

I have a IX, but the Kelford 272s made a huge difference for me. Great top end power and nice bit of lope at idle.
