doesn't this part not fit cars with acd due to the reservoir?

I've since stop using the Perrin foam filter as I got tired of the oiled filter. That Buschur piece looks like it would do the trick though.

For reference I am currently using a the RE-0870 and removing it netted no gains. The intake tube was put out of the hot air zone behind the radiator (dont have a fan there anyway).
