Xona 7864 Turbo?

Hey guys

I currently was running a FP HTA3582 before 2 screws from the tial hotside decided to back out causing the turbo to rub and fail after a good night in Mexico. My question is about the new Xona 7864 since I have been unable to find a lot of result on the turbo. The only video on youtube ran a 9.13 @149mph with the 7864.

I made good power with my hta82 at 35psi and this 7864 is basically the hta86. I never dyno the car but I guess I was making between 600-650whp. My goal is fast spooling turbo that is capable to make closet to 8xxwhp.

Any information about this turbo good or bad? Anyone currently running this series of turbo? average spool rmp on a 2.0? max power or psi?

Please advice.

B

The 7864 is the HTA3586, but with the new/updated HTZ compressor aero. So look up results for the HTA3586 and you'll have a good idea of what the 7864 will deliver, except the 7864 will deliver a bit more power on kill mode. It is definitely a great turbo.

Don't worry, your car will make some major jam with that turbo. what is your WHP goal for your car? I am really not that crazy about making anything over 800whp.

My Xona 7864 just shipped from FP today and should be installing it by the end or this weekend. I also hope to be on a dyno tune by next week too. I am sure we will meet in Mexico soon since we are both in the area

Expect a bit more air out of the HTZ compressor, and a few hundred RPM slower spool with the 2.0L. He onlt 17psi springs in the wastegates, and an MBC, or it could have made more boost/power.

letsgetthisdone - I would be happy with 790whp if i can hit it with 40psi. Thanks for the share bro

tsidrift1 - Our cars setup is very similar but you are running more displacement than me. PM me your FB name so we can talk more. I'm sure we have alot of commend friends.

The turbo was just shipped from FP Yesterday and should arrive tomorrow. we are planning to install and hopefully tune it by Friday night or Saturday night. My car was nasty at 35-36 pounds with the HTA82. I would say I was around 650whp since I was able to beat or keep up with car making over 700whp. I will surely update once i get the car on a dyno or after a good night in Mexico streets.
