Haven't gone to the dealer to acquire throttle plate screw but I was hoping someone here had experience finding and replacing them.

For the screws I just went to a hardware store out here that carries all sorts of screwes in metric and standard, looks for the ones that matched and picked up a hand full of them. They are like .01 each.

Just wondering if vendors who do throttle body porting also use films on their finished products? I'd appreciate it if people who's got their throttle bodies ported would chime in regarding this.

Evoryder, are you seeing a gap between the TB and the plate like in the the picture below or did David Buschur use a plate big enough that the use of dry film is no longer needed? If it does have a gap, are you having stalling issues?

i don't think the gap is bad at all...not like the stock cleaned up valve. i definitely remember seeing the same gap on my stock tb. Buschur uses a different plate i believe. If i pick up the stuff today i'll take a pic of my DB TB before and after.

I don't have stall issues, I'm trying to clean up my slow speed take off driveability.

a buddy of mine was able to pick up a can of dow corning molycote 321 for me with his business license (http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/DOW...ubricant-6Y773)

I actually have my throttle body off and just sprayed the second coat. I'll let you guys know if there is any improvement in drivability. I've been having stalling issues while depressing the clutch as i come to a stop. I've also been having throttle hang issues with the car feeling as if it were in cruise control on the highway.

This kind of fixed my stalling issues. The throttle hang is still there though.

I had to open up the biss a little after putting the throttle body back on so the car would idle properly. I remember when I "cleaned" the TB, i had to close the biss because it was idling to high.

I cleaned all the gunk off the back of mine without thinking it was there for a reason. I did not use a feeler gauge when reinstalling but have not had any stalling issues whatsoever

I picked up some dry moly lube from Grainger today (the 842 that Liquid got). I'll see how this goes. My WORKS throttle body doesn't have too bad of spacing but it can still be improved.

Thats what I'm expierencing... the throttle wants to hang during shifts and what not. I'm 99% its the throttle cable though. The routing with the Magnus isn't the best and the more I play with it the less throttle hang I have.
