slave cylinder / clutch issues

So its any other day and I floor it in 2nd gear. All of a sudden I can't get it into 3rd so I pull over turn the car off. Resistance feels good as I am able to start it back up but while running when I push in the clutch I feel a lot of vibration and spongyness. Can't get the car into gear so I leave it in the parking lot.

Evom what is up with my car?

Edit:

I replaced the slave cylinder and bled it out. Did not fix my problem.

Clutch feels normal when you don't start it up, but when you start it up it feels very soggy and won't disengage to let the transmission into gear.

Now I am going to replace the Master cylinder. $170 from local O Reilly's Auto parts.

If that doesn't work then damn the tranny has to come out again so I can inspect the throw out bearing I guess.

Edit:

I looked through my service hole and sure enough there is a clip halfway attached.

Does anyone have a picture of how this clip should be attached or better yet a write up on how to re-attach the clip without removing the whole tranmission?

Also where do I buy another clip?

Either air in your clutch line and required bleeding or your pressure plate/flywheel are warped from heat.
