I only remember the stock cover and then this ported shroud cover?
When the shroud cover came out it was originally called the 80mm cover. It is actually an 80mm ID.

It seemed to turn into the 84mm over time.

That turbo you are pointing out is the magnesium wheel version, NOT what we get here in the USA. It could potentially be a different size (pretty sure it is not though) and it would still have nothing to do with the USDM IX turbo.

Besides that, you can clearly tell the pictures are taken from different angles/distances so the scale is skewed. Also, the diffuser is part of the compressor HOUSING and not the compressor wheel. Increasing the diffuser means absolutely nothing when talking about the compressor wheel. It simply means they used a larger compressor cover, similar to a T04B vs. T04E.
I stand corrected. Thanks for clarifying that issue!

FP has raised the price on these to $300 since I made this thread... I guess they were selling well.

I was one of the last that bought one for the stock 9 for $250 like 6 months ago and I believe they dont make them anymore for the stock 9. I'll be selling mine in a few months. Going 25G!
