boost controller help

boost controller help

Im going to install a blitz boost controller on my evo IV..
I have a question, what happens with the hose that goes from the stock solenoid to the intake, which is "1" hose in this pic

Any help ?

And where should i take pressure for the controller, i currently have a boost gauge T'd from the BOV, or should i get it somewhere else?

remove it, and cap it off.

so i should buy like a hose with an end and put it on the nipple ?

and is the BOV good to messure the boost for the boost controller?

Just find a fine threaded machine screw that fits really tight into the hole in the inlet hose and then secure it tightly with a zip tie. At least that is the way that I have always done it.

another question , i put my controller on 12v ignition from sigarette thing in the car. Well when i remove the key the turbo timer goes on, well the gauge goes out , will that be a problem ?

Is a turbo timer even needed with a VI? It isnt with a viii . When key is off I thought you loose battery power to cig lighter

Is balanchie a bad word on your island? just curious

I live on a hot island , so it is required. When key is out it loses on cig lighter, but not when key is still on acc

I installed the solenoid and when i put the key on ACC, the solenoid makes a buzzing sound, but when i start the car the noise stops

any ideas?
