How to put on exhaust valve stem
Noob question I know but I need to put one on and its a TIGHT fit, is there a tool to do this or does everybody use just a socket or something and push/tap it down? It's not going down as smooth as ones I've done before (only replacing one on this motor tho), which were for a stang and had different style seals but just wondering is theres a trick to put these on?
What tools are used?

Use a deep socket (12MM I think) that will just fit around, but not touch the spring. Tap on socket squarely with something heavy and metalic. Listen to the sound, it will change once seated, like - tap, tap, tap, tap, tink
I had only gotten one replacement, got a set today from extremepsi.com and will have a whole set tomorrow so I'll have extras if I mess one up.

As for the tool from Autozone I don't think they have a tool for the seal, and not sure if they got a spring compressor for OHC motors. I got one made from a modified C-clamp but only works on OHV motors like in my stang. I know a guy with a machine shop I might end up going there, he has a setup on his drill press that pushes the spring down to get the keepers in instead, save me some time goin to autozone and all that.
