Unhappy Black residue on back of car????

hey i have a Evo 8 with less than actual break in miles i have been noticing black sprinkles collecting on the back of the car... Im not sure if its oil or what.. Is it possible the rings havent seated yet and its just blow by? or could the car be running rich? Or could it possibly even be road debris? Im really worried about it any help would be apriciated...

actually, it's not from that Marcus, everyone's had that issue, honestly, it's the tires...they're breaking in too!

It's the car running rich and it also occurs from the brake dust blowng back. It happens to my Supra all the time.

It's a combination of the tires scrubing and the brake dust. It gets better after time but doesn't go away because of the brakes. I've got ane of those California dusters to take care of it. Just go over it with the duster when the car is cool and it comes right off. It's not a big deal, at all.

Anither thing I thought of is when I first got mine it had so much tire dressing on it, when I got home with it both sides of the car were black. It took two washes to finally get it all off.

o ic....

ah yes then the greasy residue would be explained by it being tires thanks i didnt even think about that being what it was.... puts some of my fears to rest.. It was a test drive model for the dealer it had like 130 miles when i got it so i didnt know how it was treated on those 130 miles...
