To answer the question, my aeroturbine was 4" in 4" out and next to nothing other than make the car look legal. The Magnaflow is a 3.5" in offset to 3.5" centered out. The difference were non existent to 26psi and 650whp where the car had done 657 before it was only making 645-650. I turned the boost up to 32psi where it had done 746 now it was 715, 38 it made 794 now 739.
This means one of 2 things, either its hurt or its the muffler change. It doesnt smoke or rattle, no boost leaks, I rip on it at 30+psi still and have for quite a few customers. Its not the clutch (triple) as it still holds as much torque as I care to throw timing to it.
I am very open for suggestions though if its not the muffler. In talking to FP this afternoon I was reminded of my education about head pressure in the exhaust and expansion ratio directly affecting pre turbine backpressure. I tend to think its the exhaust.
Magnaflow 12909 is the part number.

that type of power lose i would have left the other muffler on.
my exhaust is pretty quite now. i ran a 3.5 dp to a burns muffler at the cat and a 3.5 dp back to a TI 3.5 ID muffler. that was loud but enjoyable.
now i run the same 3.5 inch dp to a 3.5 aluminum dp back with only the ti muffler and it some how became even quieter. which is a good thing.
i had the ETS aeroturbine muffler. that thing screams. maybe look into other muffler options Aaron.

How much did the sound change between the mufflers? I remember when I started and exhuast size thread, it was brought up that certain sound waves would help/hurt flow.
That could be a cool test, use a db meter with differnt mufflers. db's vs hp
But anyways I would say try a vibrant race muffler http://vibrantperformance.com/catalo...Path=1022_1032 they have both Al and SS

^Here in WA/OR, but more so WA, its more about what your exhaust looks like than sound. They care about sound dont get me wrong, but I have been given an exhaust ticket b/c the officer could "see" inside of my muffler and I was parked.
