Spark Blowout, bpr vs br?

I was on the dyno friday night, well actually saturday morning but anyways I threw in a fresh set of plugs friday morning gapped to .024(using feeler gauges). I started getting spark blowout around 17psi peak, so I gapped them down to .019 using feeler gauges. Car ran perfect untill 22psi peak boost. I started getting spark blowout again right at peak boost. Once I hit 5500 and the boost was falling no spark blowout. Im on stock ignition, with the dwell time increased.

The guy I rented the dyno from does hondas 99% of the time but said it could be because of Im using protruding plugs. An that he only recommends using non protruding. I was gonna close the gap down to .017 but by this time it was almost 4am .

So has anyone has blowout issues with the bpr and switched to br and had the blowout go away from that alone?

BR8EIX is the strongest plug i have found. I had K20 coils and those making 650whp clean. You could have a crappy coil also.

The Irridiums I don't like in my car.

I run the BR8ES I found the car to be a bit smoother through the RPM range with the non protruding tip plugs. But have never blew out spark in my EVO ever so IDK. Have used BPR7ES, BR7ES, BPR8ES, BR8ES, BR8EIX, BPR8EIX, BR7EIX, BPR7EIX over the years.

I used the 7 heat range plugs on the stock frames I had and the 8 heat range on the 61mm.

Both in the 7's and 8's I found the Non protrudin copper plugs perform the best in my car
BR7ES and BR8ES

have you checked your wiring like i suggested on your old thread?
doing stuff like the star washers on your earthing points, and even running a "hot" 12volts directly from the battery to eliminate your power wiring and relays.

Have you tried 7 heat range plugs? ER said they had good luck with switching to iridiums.

Igntion and everything is fine. Its the plug/plug gap. That problem was the gap, stupid coin gapper was off by over .005. Gapped them to .022 and was g2g. Learned my lesson, I used the feeler gauges now.

I threw in new plugs before I went to the dyno, I gapped them .024 and was getting spark blow out, gapped them down to .019 and was good for another 6psi then the blowout came back.

I run br7es gapped to .020. Stock 80k mile ignition coils, e85 and 36psi boost. No blowout issues whatsoever.

Changed to non protruding plugs and blowouts gone. I actualy hit alittle over 1psi more on the street than on the dyno when I was getting blowout.
