2.4 started and ran, now wont start.

Alright guys, have a confusing one. I recently finished my 2.4 build, got everything buttoned up, started the car. It fired right up, ran good, or as good as it was going to with my old map still on the car. I drove the car for 40 miles, everything was ok. Holes in the map, but to be expected. Loaded the car in a trailor, took it to be tuned. Started it, pulled it out of the trailor. Got the car on the dyno, strapped down. Did a calibration to 5k, let out of it, car fell threw idle. Since, it WILL NOT start. I checked the timing, it didnt jump a tooth. Here are my symptoms:

-Tries to start, but when i give it gas, it has no response.

-Got an engine code for "Cam position sensor malfunction", switched out both cam sensors with known working ones, off a buddys car and no start. His car is fine with my sensors.

-No spark. When i test for spark, i have nothing.

-Piston 1 and 2 are COVERED in fuel, 3 and 4 are ok.

Any guesses? Some are suggesting timing may be off. I will pull everything off and retime the motor tommorow if need be. Crank sensor? Something weird?

Any help or ideas would be appreciated!

I agree. But timing is good still. TDC on the crank, cam marks are lined up. The same way the car ran before. I will retime it if i have to. Fuel pressure spikes to 45 on cranking, and drops to 30 after i stop cranking. SO i know pressure is there...

I'm not too sure on this as I've never done a build like that but I assume u used a bottom end of a 4g69 or some other motor? Wonder if the timing may have to he modified

Im thinking the ECU is fried. I had an issue with low voltage while trying to flash, and the code that it is throwing a symptom of that. I may just go stand alone and see where that puts me. The timing stuff would make sense if the car never started. But it started, ran, and drove.

you said you have no spark if you can switch the coil packs and see if you get spark?

Coil packs, and cam sensors were both switched with know working ones, and had no avail. I also thought it may be grounds. I may go today and run some random grounds all over the place and see if it helps.

Without a crank sensor there will be no spark. Check for loose connection.

Do you have a DVOM?
