k&N typhoon intake

k&N typhoon intake

just got in the typhoon intake. Installed it and ran like crap. Went to the dealer and we looked at a new evo and i installed the BOV backwards. Look at picture 25 of the installation pictures and it says to install it as shown, AND ITS FREAKIN BACKWARDS in the photo. ime gonna do a leakdown test on it and if faulty, they are gonna buy a new one or else.....morons......rrr

thats sucks they did that u should of got buschur super easy to install it makes it louder dont really know if it is givin me any more power

Your motor is fine. The worst thing that would of happened is that you would hert the turbo with compresor surge due to the lack of a functioning bov.

Seems like K&N delted the other post with the K&N Typhoon Intake dyno due to negative experiences by people like myself. Thanks K&N, you're the best

i did a search and someone is busy deleting them......HHHmmmmmm could it be a money thing?????

i had the same problem and just flipped the bov on a hunch and i haven't had a problem since. i like the look and sound of the typhoon and i feel a little more kick as well
