Well i dont think its a head gasket kuz id have oil in my antifreeze and antifreeze in my oil and i dont.. I just sucked all the antifreeze outta the overflow till the full line and put it in the radiator like its supposed to do on its own.. now that whistle i had after it heats up goes away and sounds like a clonking noise.. i cant win

Seems like the radiator was working right for a few days but i just checked and theres still not any antifreeze in the top of the radiator. Think it might be the thermostat ?

So your radiator is empty? How has your car not overheated yet? The radiator holds at least 3/4 of gal of coolant. The reservoir is not even a quart.

If your thermostat is stuck closed then it wont take in the hot coolant(upper pipe) ...it should actually suck/vacuum from the reservoir to compensate and not return it back.

Check where the cap seals to the radiator for gouges and scratches. If none then try a new cap. I've had caps bad out of the packaging. If that doesn't fix it then I'd suspect a blown head gasket pushing fluid to the jug faster than the radiator can suck it back. Once the jug is full it goes overboard.

Another thing to check is the hose between the radiator and jug. If that isn't a tight fit all the radiator will suck is air.

Try this- With the engine cool take the radiator cap off then start it. Once it reaches operating temp keep filling it until its topped off. Turn on the heat too...or the AC. It sounds like you dont have enough anitfreeze in it. Unfortunately it also sounds like that dogged your car out while it was in their hands. Do you have a manual boost controller in your car?
