Ok so I have an 03 evo 8 pretty much stock except intake, exhaust. After leaving the car for about a year, came back, dad drove once in a while. Came back and drove a lot, then started misfiring around 5-7 rpms.

Checked oil, it was half below the low level, and gray. REALLY BAD OIL.!

So i changed the oil with full synthetic 10-30 mobile one oil.
Started up car. Started smoking huge clouds of light blue smoke!
Oil cap steams and lets oil out if I give it some throttle.

Think its the turbo, took the turbo off, has oil in innercooler.
Has little shaft play.
Boost worked fine before and after changed oil, but idling kind of rough and dying when cold. Then runs for a little and dies.

Today checked compression in cylinders, all but furthest to drivers side have about 90-100, and this is with the turbo and exhaust manifolds off.
The furthest to drivers side has absolutely ZERO pressure 0!
not even a little. and its not the tester, checked many times.


No oil in radiator, so shouldn't be head gasket.

Im thinking valves or piston rings..

How would i check if the turbo is bad?

Any vids on piston rings? ive seen valves vid, but how to be sure?

Any suggestions??

 

If you are getting no pressure in cyl 4 then you have a cracked piston or really jacked up rings...
