*2004 evo 8* I was in 4th gear and still accelerating pretty hard. When I pushed the clutch pedal in, it stuck to the floor (not fun at high speeds). I slowed down and pulled off the road. After about 15 minutes of investigating on the side of the road, I hopped back in and tried pumping the clutch. There was a little play this time, but still not functional. I called a friend to ask what may be wrong, yadda, yadda... after another 10 minutes or so, I get back in and the clutch is back to normal for the most part. Maybe a little sticky, but pretty much fully functional. Any ideas what may have caused this and what needs to be replaced?

 

slave cyl would be my guess

 

air in line.. may need to add fluid..

Sounds like you have air in the line.

 

Sounds like the symptoms I had right before it failed.
