I am currently stationed in Germany have a evo4. I just wanted to see if anybody knew any places to purchase a downpipe for my car or if the 8 and 9 downpipe would work thanks.

Do you mean the downpipe from the 8 and 9 will work cause i already know that the manifolds work.

 

No, downpipes are different evo 4-6 and 7-9. Search UK ebay or any UK based Evo shop and you'll find the correct downpipe.

Exhaust manifold on the other hand is almost the same and does fit, although Evo 4 has SAS holes drilled.

 

what are SAS holes.

 

My Evo 4 has an Evo 8 down pipe but my turbo kit isnt a stockframe kit

 

What turbo kit are running

 

evo 4 turbo from factory uses a different pattern , so NO the evo 8 downpipe will not fit

 

please rember the evo 8 uses a donut gasket on the downpipe and the evo 4 uses a flat gasket ..

Daniel its Enrique, Hey those holes on the manifold are for the secondary air system. After 4k Rpm the system blows cold air direct from the intake manifold to the exhaust manifold to keep the turbing from droping too much. I hate the look of it but it really does help some. Plust if you take it out you will not get any more pops and bangs when taking off.

I have an Evo 4, I am running an Invidia manifold with a FP Red turbo, Invidia O2 housing with a Megan downpipe. All parts are for an 8. MY LICP and UICP are for an 8 as well.

So, since this was resurrected recently, I'm having a similiar issue. I have an Evo IV motor in my VIII/turbo setup right now while I'm building my VIII motor.

So, my question is: Will the VIII o2 housing bolt up to a IV turbo?

 

The O2 housing is all the same
