P0300 only while on the freeway

Hey guys i have a question. Im having a little issue. Lately whenever i drive on the freeway and cruise around 75-80mph around the 3300 rpm on up range i get a p0300 code. Ive researched people saying its transmission hermonics but i want to rule everything out before i delete a valuable code... First off i do have a high fuel trim right now but not super high ltft is at 10% as well as stft when it actually codes. Ive checked for boost leaks and couldnt find any except the tb shaft seal which i replaced and it still has its issues... What other suggestions might you guys have?

Turn the code off in the ROM is the normal operation.

^ What he said. I have an 03 as well and they're notorious for having the 300 code.

I have yet to see a REAL misfire throw a P0300. This problem goes back to 2G Eclipse/Talons so its not new nor is it something to worry about. If the car doesnt feel like its "hiccupping" when you make a pull (normally over 24psi and higher rpm) then I doubt there is a real misfire, especially in vacuum at low rpm.

Yeah the limp mode part sucks. Thats why we turn it off.

+10% LTFT/STFT is most likely intake pipe induced. There are a few that cause it more than others, the HKS and the ARC. I'd add some latency at 14v and call it a day

Awesome thanks i was also told to try the fuel injector scaling and decrease by 10% is that a bad idea? I have ap tuner and can i just turn off the p0300 by simply unchecking it in the advanced perameters?

I havent looked at the AP for the 8/9 so I am not sure on that one. IF it is in the advanced parameters then thats what I would do. I know some of the code stuff made it in but like I said I am not sure how much. When I get to work tomorrow I'll hook up the HASP and see what the Pro Tune software has in it. I wouldnt grab the scaling as thats global, the latency is more idle and cruise which is what we are worried about here. Typically even if its off 10% on trims and is on stock injectors its not 10% lean out the top.
