yeah,it will cost alot of coin to convert, but if thats what u want so be it.i saw that subaru article as well about that auto conversion.the only auto that i liked when i had a host of other cars was a turbo 400 with a shift kit in a 79 malibu.Did u check out the norris design evo with the 5 speed doing like 188 mph and then with 715bhp with an estimeted 215 mph top speed??thats sick! but anyway good luck and hope i gave u some info u could use.keeps us all posted as things develop...

500whp ?? Yea .. Do you think a 2.2L with HKS 3037ProS and running on Fcon pro V meets that target ??

Anyway .. there's one featured in a japanese mag that runs this setup with upgraded transmission ..

Pesto if you're running cable or ADSL I can scan and send it to you .. and translate most of the curly stuff

Actually, that twin mode clutch system by 5Zigen looks like the right direction to take.. It probably would take minimal modification to get it to work in an USDM Evo8, and at under $2000 its not all that expensive.. Figure another grand or two for installation and misc fabrication..

I may like this system..but i dont quite understand it...is it just basically an actuator that when the button is depressed releases the clutch? The website says u press the button and push up to upshift and and down to downshift...so it becomes sequential? then other information i found on the internet says u still have to go through the gears as normal (H pattern)....truth is we really dont need our clutch to shift if thats the case.. (may not be great for the tranny but if u pull out of gear in certain RPM on any car it will synchronise the next gear and u may get the sweet spot to change)...but if all this system is is a clutch actuator....Im not sure its such a great product...wouldnt you want it to have the stop and go mode? once rolling or on the highway its not as much a pain in the *** as rowing with a clutch in traffic..when its active can u come to a full stop for stop and go?
