See if you can solve my diff question

I have a simple question but I cant seem to find the definitive answer.

My question is how many differentials are in an Evo with ACD?

If there are 3 differentials in an Evo with ACD then where are all three differentials located?

Diff locations

Hello,
There are 3 diffs.
1= Centre diff located in the transmission
2=Front diff located in the transfer case
3=rear diff located in the rear diff housing.
Cheers

If I know its possible to replace the front diff and the rear diff then it should be possible to replace the center diff.

If an Evo with ACD system replaces all three of its diffs with an aftermarket diffs like Qualife then would it be possible to retain the ACD system and would there be any benefits gained?

Bump this thread I would like to see empirical or photographic proof of the three diffs that come out of an Evo with ACD.

One pic of the front diff

One pic of the center diff

One pic of the rear diff

I don't think anyone makes an aftermarket ACD center diff. There is the GSC 40/60 center diff, but that's mechanical, not ACD.

Excellent! I have verified that this information is correct.

The center differential is indeed located in the transmission.

Here is photographs of installation and video of it in action:

General pictures of the center differential:

By process of elimination the front differential must be located in the transfer case.

Big thanks to Rjones, brt426, and nudge120 who helped me with my search!
