wow, 2mm difference.... possible bent rod.

1-4 pistons are the same.

Two millimeters isn't all that much considering the junk that can collect on the top of pistons.

If it's just carbon build up that's making it a 2mm difference, it's not a big deal. You can scrape it off the piston just fine. BUT if it's just measuring the pistons, than it's a big difference and there could be a problem. As what Aby said, could be a bend rod.

2mm = ~.080

a oem gasket is ~0.047 / 5 layer... if the piston is below the deck by ~0.020, the piston w/carbon would be hitting the squish band portion of the cylinder head.

but it doesn't bind or resist when rotating by hand any of the pistons

what does a compression test show up?
if the piston is physically lower because the rod is bent, the compression on that same cylinder will be low

I would suggest disassembly to inspect. That is not normal and there has to be a reason for it.
