Just got a brand new Shep stage one trans rebuild and a brand new exedy twin hd put in. So far i have driven around 400 miles no issue till today. I went to do a little 3rd gear pull 3/4 throttle and i noticed it slipping after 5k rpm. Where do I start?

Any recent installs with this clutch? How does it grab when in heavy traffic? I have the Exedy 3 Puck and it lasted only 3k miles on heavy DD traffic.

My twin disc lasted me over 40k km. 1/2 of them on 650+ whp.
Only changed it to upgrade to triple disc.

Can you share some tips on how you drive it from a stop and go?

I am now thinking I drive badly as my Spec Stage 3+ lasted 10k miles, then my Exedy 4 puck only lasted 3k miles.

I never launched the car. Sorry forgot to mention that.
Always made sure the clutch does not drag. Made the necessary pedal adjustments.

It held through my 2.0L build, 9k rpm shifts. Then my 2.3L build as well. Never slipped.

Thanks.

Will take not of the clutch adjustment.

1st 2 clutches dragged alot. Adjusted the clutch pedal last weekend and it didn't drag anymore, but I was thinking it is sliding, I will have to see when the twins are installed.
