What consist of the stroker kit

This might have been covered thousands of times. But this will be for searching purposes for others and just to get an idea on what really consist to build a stroker motor.

So to make it simple. If you were gonna put together your own stroker kit, what parts do you need?

On DSM using the stock block, you only need the 100mm crank (6 or 7 bolt, whatever block you'll use) and stroker pistons. The rods are same as the 2.0L. You will use the same bearings, water pump, oil pump, head gasket and gaskets, timing belts as 2.0L as well.

Is this similar to Evo's? Like I said if you were gonna put together your own. (Not buying the kit) that will be too easy

Thanks

It's the same deal as with the DSM... 100mm crank and stroker pistons.

Yes, stock 150mm rods. Evo 4G63s are the same except that the tranny is on the other side and compression is different.

It's 2.0l block with stroker 100mm crank, stock length rods, and stroker pistons. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks for the input brothers

So you could just buy the crank, pistons, and rods, and build your own stroker kit? How much would it cost to piece together your own kit?

^depends on how much power your looking to make. The stock 100mm crank is good, up to 700+ from what I've been told, but it's the rods and rod connecting bolts that you shouldn't cheap out on. if you want to make 800+ hp, purchase rods that support that much power, or talk to your shop for advice which will be clearancing and/or milling your head and block
