For the folks in this first group buy of 30, there is a $100 discount off the normal price of $1345. Short answer: $1245.

Any decent performance shop I would imagine; I'll probably get it put in at the same time as a new clutch...

If you REALLY can't find anyone in NY to do it - Why not just head on down to TurboTrix in NJ? Im sure they can do it for a decent price.

A link, please. I've looked everywhere on the UK and USA sites and can't find it... in fact, I can find on their site a blurb that states that the Quaife needs to have at least some traction on both wheels, which sort of blows the "wheel hop" situation.

Here's a link:
http://www.quaifeamerica.com/downloads/61-65.pdf

To quote: "Whilst requiring some torque in the slipping wheel, the Quaife is progressive in action..."

In other words, it shouldn't work with a wheel in the air. No big deal, especially in road race situations, but nice to know.

I am the only Mitsubishi distributor for Quaife. We need to order them at a minimum of 30 at a time with a ~3 month lead time. It will take a while to gauge true demand since many of the people that are on this list will flake and just about anyone that really wants one is on it too. Any one else that wants to sell them can buy them 30 at a time too probably. At some point later when production and demand settle out, there may be ones in stock at Quaife USA and those could be sold to any Quaife distributor.

Once Quaife and I decide that we are ready for production, I'll order how ever many that we have serious people for plus another 10 or so. Only the people on this list when we go into production will get the discount.

I'm just worried about later when my financial situation stabilizes... which could be as late as next spring.

Mike, any word on this "modified" feature that people are talking about?
