More should be built by the end of the month. I will know more about the date tomorrow and also quantities.

I wont start a "list" until I have something more firm from England. Still, what counts in making a list is not a "me too" from spaRkl3_bunny69 on a messaage board, but a credit card number and an order form.

that's great news!

but Mike, can you confirm this add-on front LSD to 03 evo will keep TC stay stronger? also how does this comparing to the teamrip's strengthen TC w/ ralliart LSD?

thanks for the input,

Ben

Just got back from RRE with my new Quaife installed! Its exaclty what marksae said. You can really feel it pull a lot better with a nice oversteer when cornering hard. Just want to say thanks to Tony from RRE for the great install.
Can't wait to try this out at the track.

A quaife is inherently a 1 way LSD, I don't see how it could mess up the ABS. You've read all the same stuff we have on the board, if you're not convinced I guess nothing will convince you until you try it.

Heh, heh... you didn't pick up on Rob's sarcasm. His Evo was the first to have the Quaife installed. He was a guinea pig.

Oversteer is right. I was "testing" the quaife on the wet roads the other day to see if wet traction has improved and almost slid into a curb. Getting on the gas while entering a turn in 2nd kicked the whole rear end out like a rally car. While I could have stayed on the gas and continued the drift, I wised up and stopped.

I'm still on my advans. The only suspension mods I have are eibach prokits and a works 24mm rear sway bar on the middle setting. I've been driving understeering cars for so long, that this is going to take a lot of getting used to.

Yeah, when my front wheels are up in the air, they still behave like an open diff. If I rotate one wheel forward, the other rolls backwards.

OK, let's say you're kind of a dork and got these six inch Quaife die cut decals in dark silver for your car. You have two of them. Where do they go? On the decklid? ON each of the front fenders below the indicators? Just a hypothetical question... not that anyone I know would put DECALS on their car....

Since the quaife is a Torsen type differential, it all works all opposite of what you would normally think. If you put the stickers on the front of the car anywhere, the car will oversteer horribly. Put them on the rear 1/4 panels or bumper and it will push and plow like a pig. Through extensive testing and taking into account the weight bias of the EVO, we found that you need to stick on the sticker on the driver's side just under the side mirror. On the passenger side you need to put it right on the door seam between the front and rear doors (but down low).
