Evo 9 overheating

Thanks for all your input, I am taking my car in tomorrow to the garage for checkup
I shall mention all the above possibilities to the mechanic and see what they'll find...

Took the car in yesterday...after a quick check, found that the main cooling fan isn't working, and the other cooling fan isn't spinning as fast as it should be too.
Now checking if it's the thermostat or...simply the fans
The mechanics have taken the bumper off as I type to verify which is which

Any updates?

FYI: I dont run a radiator fan just the condenser fan. No over heating issues over here in texas with 100+ summers.

I had the same issue where the temperature gauge would spike up when the car was at a standstill sometimes and would go back down when moving. For me it was a ground wire for the thermostat i believe. I replaced it with another grounding wire and it fixed the problem.
