Evolution Evolved- English Racing presents the USDM Auto Evo
#346
We stopped development on the auto in 2012 when it was obvious we couldnt make any version of it as strong as the older style regardless of the amount we spent on internals. I had 5 years into the project at that point so I bowed out and let Dave try to make it work where I hadnt been able.
I have no plans to restart the development of the auto project anytime soon though.

Maybe something will come of an auto evo in the future... Guess I'll put one of my thoughts out there that iam sure other's have discussed but probably not openly.
Use a sequential manual transmission from the evox mr bolted to a 1g/2g 4g63 "since the trans bolt pattern is the same narrow block" and an evo head to keep the turbo in the same place. New trans brackets would probably need to be made plus the wiring/trans control if even possible. Not really sure if the DCT470 could take the abuse from the 4g63 but there's one way to find out..
Ohh and the source of the narrow block findings were from a friend of mine who has mated the 4b11t to a 1977 Dodge Colt 904 transmission.
Since everyone likes pics.
