The BBK is not made for boosted applications. There are no throttle shaft seals, nor any accommodation for them.

I run a Boomba and love it. Never leaked for me. I have seen them test these to 70 psi and hold. They use loctite and pin the screws to make sure they don't come out. Reuses all stock sensors.

Could you inform me what is an issue with aluminum throttle plates?

Also, did you contact Boomba to try having them fix the issue with the cross threaded fittings?

I think aluminum is just a stupid material for a throttle plate. One guy had the plate break a while ago, to me its not worth the risk. As far as the cross threaded fittings, i fixed them myself as the car was apart and i needed it running asap.

Whoa! You need to really chuck something at that plate to make it break - metal just doesn't like to snap on its own lol.

Gotcha - Boomba has always been super helpful whenever I had an issue. Best part is they actually have listened to my feedback unlike some other companies I have dealt with in the past.

Best of luck to you in your search sir!
