Best EVO clutch for high HP

I've been looking at clutches, I need one that will be able to support around 500 hp, 600 tops. Any suggestions?

ACT seems pretty reasonable for its price and I believe Ultimate Racing use the same clutch for their 11sec. Evo....

ACT Does have rock bottom prices, anyone know about the Exedy double plate clutch, or the HKS?

Besides the fact that they are pretty pricey....not really.
Aren't their clutch's carbon on carbon??

Sir, you should search.

Any good double-clutch would be able to hold that kind of power, that is, Cusco twin-plate, HKS, or Ogura Racing Clutch. They run from $1400 for the Cusco up to $1830 for the Ogura. Let me know if you are interested in ordering.

I have the HKS GD max twin disc. I love it . very smooth and half of the stock pedel pressure. I believe that the twin will hold 600+hp. and their tripple disc 1000hp.

I use OS twin plate clutch.. I don't use the car daily but few other guys with the same clutch use it daily no problems.. Even one guy got well over 500HP with that clutch and he use it a lot in the drag track.. with out any slip.. He says that it's much better than HKS..
IMO it's better than Cusco twin plate coz I used that and it did not last long..

I also noticed something on all twin plate clutches .. It's when you press the clutch peddle you hear a metal to metal sound.. It's normal.. it's just the pressure plate.. and it's on most car with twin plate clutch..

Definately get an Exedy. We have customers with twin plate exedy's, and they love them! When I get my EVO, I'm definately going to get one.

I'm just happy I get my employee discount
