What were the symptoms when your divided melted? What caused you to start looking for culprits? This question can be answered by the OP too. Just curious

It is hard to believe looking at the housing, but we found out visually when we had the exhaust off for a different reason.I expect it had been in that state for a while, but the car was dynoed many times, power output was within expectations, though the car didn't feel quite 'right'.
We did put an egt sensor in after the first one(pictured) melted, but the second one started to go the same way pretty quickly, with not outrageous exhaust temps.

I have an nos T3 1.06 on a htagt35 that I will try, though I expect the new housings on the way will be ideal.

What you guys are really talking about is high temperature creep and not melting. If it had melted, there'd be a pool of material somewhere. Just wanted to point that out.

Update - Garrett have released new twin scroll exhaust housings which are high temp, suitable for motorsport.
