P0441 after clutch install?

resolved. delete

Hey guys just like the title says. The clutch was installed at a mitsu dealer too. I drove half a full tank after the install and the ses light came on and is throwing this code. any idea? evo 8 gsr non ssl

Its for the evaporative emissions control. Did any vacuum hoses come loose? Especially at the solenoids by the intake manifold

Seem like I remember that the P0441 code is set when the gas cap isn't on tight.

What the ECU does is put a sight vacuum on the fuel tank - something like 0.3 psi vacuum. When that doesn't work something is wrong. It could, as above, also be a pulled vacuum hose.

i checked the gas cap. ill just take it back to mitsu on tuesday and have them look at it cause i have been reading that a lot of lines can accidently be pulled out or made loose when changing a clutch. unless there are any other ideas by anyone? the dealership is a little far so i would like to explore everything i can on my own before i make the drive. thanks

It's real easy to break the solonoid valve that's mounted under the intake manifold.
