If the slave and master are ok (not leaking and free of air), you're probably going to need a clutch.

Had this problem a few months ago. The clutch disc was broken. Two of the springs fell half way out and part of the hub broke off. It never made any noise... Clutch was never abused (by me anyway, can't speak for the owner before me. I had owned the car for 2 years before it happened). I just couldn't shift any higher than 1500 RPMs. When I'd come to a stop with the peal depressed in first gear, the car would buck, as if the clutch was still engaged.

Just a thought. I highly doubt it's an issue with the transmission. Not to say it can't be, I just doubt it.

i dont think its the clutch because this has been happening for me since june. its weird because whenever it gets rough ill be shifting really quick between 1st and 2nd gear for few second and it smooths it out and only happens every once in a while... ima drain my trans fluid and see if it helps

It could also be loose or improperly installed shift cables, check how they are attaching to the shifter stick (taking out center console) and also if they are properly attached and secured to the tranny. I once lost opperation of 2nd, 4th, and reverse because the shifter cable popped out of its support/bracked in the tranny, having the cable isntalled to the tranny with an additional 180° "twist" can also make gear changes more difficult.

Good luck,

Ricardo
